After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of confusion. You start ruminating about the nature of it all. Was this some kind of twisted art experiment?
Or were we just simply unfortunate enough to witness this spectacle unfold?

Worst Day Ever
It all started with a case of morning hair. I couldn't figure it to look presentable. As I was dashing out the door, I stumbled and badly all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally late for work.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
